David began his career in newspapers before joining Border Television in Carlisle and then TVS (later Meridian) in Southampton. He was Chief Sub Editor at TVS, then Deputy Producer and later News Editor. David compiled many of the traditional “end of year” programmes for Meridian and also produced and directed the recent Year to Remember series. He also produced the ITV50 series for the South of England, reflecting half a century of news and events with a musical theme. His latest book, Reunited in the Desert, was released by John Blake Publishing Ltd. It tells the true story of Helle Amin, whose four children were abducted and taken to Saudi Arabia. The book was one of the top new releases with Amazon, and boasted second place in the Tesco hardback chart. The release date for the paperback version is July 7th 2008.
